Here’s where it all started - a song I wrote while I was on tour in Texas. Inspired by the colloquial phrase of sound techs “It’s All About The Out”. It’s about unsung heroes and the folks behind the scenes that keep the wheels going in the music industry.

On November 7, 2025, I released the original worktape from this song. I just wanted to get it out there while I prep the release of the full record.

The worktape is from a voice memo I took when I sat down at the piano with Dan Creamer to play it through for the first time. You’ll hear sounds of gear shuffling in the background and discussions about mic placement setting up to create the new record at The Echo Lab. I feel it captured the heart of the song pretty well.
